The biggest Drupal Camp in this side of the world is coming to Manila this April

MANILA, Philippines – On April 26-27, web developers and enthusiasts will gather in Makati for what promises to be the biggest Drupal Camp in this side of the world. Drupal is an open source web-based content management platform powering millions of websites and applications. It’s built, used, and supported by an active and diverse community of people around the world.

The two-day event will have parallel sessions that cater to beginners, intermediate and advanced developers. Sessions are on web development, theming, search engine optimization, Selenium Web Driver 2, Entity vs Views, Drupal 8 CMI, Docker, Chef, Vagrant, Openstack, among others.

Notable and respected community members have also been invited to the Camp. Karl Clinger, a US-based certified Red Hat specialist and engineer will give the keynote exploring the power of open source. Drupalista Cedric Chaux will talk about e-commerce using Drupal as a platform. Speakers from other Southeast Asian Drupal users groups and jetbrains.com will also be joining the sessions.

One of the most awaited part of the Camp is the Drupalathon (Drupal + hackathon) happening on the second day, April 27th. Each team of 2-3 members will be given the chance to design and develop innovative web applications. They will also get the chance to present their hack to an international panel.
