Singer Neo denies dating Mich Liggayu of ‘Jamich’

MANILA, Philippines – Up-and-coming singer Neo Domingo is responding to rumors that he’s dating YouTube star Mich Liggayu, who lost her fiance and longtime boyfriend Jam Sebastian to cancer last March. 

On his Facebook fan page, Friday, April 3, Neo posted that he could not do anything if people choose to believe rumors.

“WALA NA AKONG MAGAGAWA sa mga taong walang alam sa katotohanan at naniniwala sa mga peke at malisyosong blogs at tsismis. Mas marami akong mas mabuting dapat pagtuunan ng pansin.

And for the record, hindi kami ni Mich. Hindi naging kami at magiging kami kailanman. #‎SigeLangTsismisPa #‎GoodFriday.” 

(I CAN’T DO ANYTHING about people who don’t know the truth and are believing fake and malicious blogs and gossip. There are other things worth my attention. 

And for the record, Mich and I aren’t together. We were never a couple, and we will never be a couple.) 

Neo and Mich were previously linked together right around the time Jam was fighting for his life in the last stages of lung cancer. Jam died on March 4. Neo spoke about the issue previously in a March 9 report from Pep, saying that he was friends with the couple but that there was nothing between him and Mich.  

On Friday, the phrase “Mich of Jamich” trended on Twitter after an article posted on a website reported that Mich allegedly admitted to looking for love outside of her relationship with Jam. Mich has yet to issue a statement.

Jam died last March 4 after a year-long battle with lung cancer. Jam and Mich rose to fame for their short videos about different types of relationships posted on YouTube. The real-life couple, together since 2008, got engaged in May 2014 shortly after Jam’s cancer diagnosis. – Rappler.com
